**Warehouse Supervisor duties and responsibilities**

Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and monitoring the productivity of its staff. Warehouse Supervisors often work in busy environments where priorities can change at a moment’s notice, so an ability to multitask is and delegate is essential with this role. Important Warehouse Supervisor job duties and responsibilities include:

- Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
- Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates
- Communicating with customers to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems
- Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
- Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
- Monitoring Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Experience**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function assigned satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- At least One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience required
- Forklift certification
- Bilingual (English - Spanish)
- Working knowledge warehouses operations
- Strong organizational skills and able to effectively handle multiple tasks at one time
- Able to work effectively under stress
- Effective interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with a diverse work group
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Effectively use Food Distribute software to research operational issues
- Able to effectively facilitate two-way communication
- Ability to create a sense of urgency within the team and for yourself
- Employee is expected to adhere to attendance guidelines

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
