**Security/Greeters at BOK BAR**
**Bok Bar in South Philadelphia is seeking dedicated security staff for part-time positions for the remainder of the 2024 season. Situated on the 8th floor of the historic BOK technical building with an unparalleled view of the city, this position offers a unique work environment on the rooftop of a thriving community of small businesses, artisan workshops, cafes, restaurants and event spaces. We are seeking experienced individuals in the art of greeting guests, assisting with wayfinding, and generally overseeing guest activity in a high volume rooftop bar.**
**Responsibilities include**:
- Checking ID’s
- Greeting guests and assisting them in navigating the BOK building.
- Becoming familiar with guests and tenants of the building as well as being knowledgeable of building information and ongoing events.
- Maintaining a visible, friendly and accessible presence while surveying the establishment.
- Taking consistent notes and filing incident reports.
- Ensuring compliance with all bar and building fire, security and safety policies.
We are looking for security staff with the following qualities:
- Outgoing and conscientious
- Possesses excellent communication skills
- Works well as part of a team
**Requirements**:
- A background in high volume restaurants and venues
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
**Rate: $19/hr**
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends only
**Education**:
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- Security: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
