Seeking a detailed-oriented **Medical Biller/Coder** to handle medical claims and coding. This role is perfect for professionals skilled in **ICD-10, CPT coding**, and familiar with **Medicare, Medi-Cal, PPO, and HMO** insurances, and EMR experience, preferably AllScripts.

- **Location**: Oxnard (training) then Ventura, CA
- **Schedule**: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

**Medical Biller/Coder Role Responsibilities**:

- Accurate coding of surgical and E&M services
- Efficient claim submission and payment tracking
- Proactive claims follow-up and appeals handling
- Comprehensive insurance verification and collections

**Medical Biller/Coder Role Qualifications**:

- 3 years of relevant experience in medical billing and coding, and strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
- Certification in medical coding is preferred but not required
- Experience with a range of insurances including Medicare, Medi-Cal, PPO, and HMO insurances

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.00 per week
