Processes the admission/registration function for patients entering the health care organization in accordance with all hospital policies.
**Education/Experience**: High school graduate or equivalent. Typing 35 wpm, and computer knowledge PC keyboarding skills required. Basic medical terminology required, with health insurance knowledge including experience with Managed Care requirements. 1-year business related experience preferred, and must demonstrate ability in communication and problem solving. Ability to operate admitting equipment including an imprinter, embosser, CRT, printer and photocopy machine. Ability to handle multitasks in a fast-paced environment.
**Location**: Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana - Patient Registration
**Schedule**: Full-time, Days, 7:00-3:30 or 8:00-4:30, rotating Saturdays
