**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **include the following. Other duties may he assigned.
- Directs movement of shipments from receiving platform to storage and work areas.
- Operates tier lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
- ( Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt and dispatch of goods
- Prepares packaging containers.
- Wraps protective material around product. Prepares product for shipping.
- Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process.
- Receiving, unloading, and shelving supplies
- Records information such as weight. time, and date packaged.
- Drives forklift to move pallets.
- Reporting any discrepancies in inventory records to warehouse supervisor

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**:
Ability to work independently and to follow instructions and SOP's. Has been Certified as a forklift operator from previous experience.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and up to one year of related experience or training.

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to log shipment information and prepare shipping paperwork. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to carriers, and other employees of the organization.

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be md by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perfom1 the essential functions.
