Wellness and Aesthetic Nurse Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and performing various non-surgical cosmetic procedures including chemical peels, dermal filler injections, Botox injections, body contouring, laser hair removal and tattoo removal. This position requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interviewing patients to uncover their needs during initial consultation appointments
- Perform specimen collection and processing for laboratory testing
- Create patient centered treatment plans
- Preparing operating rooms and examination rooms for procedures
- Performing mínimally invasive cosmetic procedures independently
- Recognize and manage emergency situations such as anaphylaxis, vasovagal attacks, and other aesthetic emergency conditions
- Monitoring patient vital signs and general condition following procedures
- Giving post-procedure instructions to patients
- Utilize electronic health record systems for accurate documentation
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining equipment and supplies and ensuring that all equipment is properly sterilized and in good working order.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care delivery
- Remaining up-to-date on the latest innovations in dermatological and plastic surgical treatments.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Training and certification in the administration of cosmetic injectables as well as certifications in other non-surgical cosmetic procedures
- Familiarity with aesthetic procedures, skincare products, and dermatological treatments.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Willingness to stay updated on advancements in aesthetic medicine.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $36.51 - $38.84 per hour
