Team Coordinator, Outpatient Wilkes Barre Rehab

**GENERAL SUMMARY**:
Under the supervision of the Outpatient Therapy Manager, the Outpatient Team Coordinator is responsible for managing all patient duties from preregistration status through discharge. This includes duties of initial contact, scheduling, registering, managing co-pays and rescheduling appointments for patients within the Outpatient Therapy Team.

Type of supervision exercised: none. Jobs reporting to this position: none.

**EDUCATION**:
High School graduate or equivalent required.

**WORK EXPERIENCE**:
Minimum of two (2) years customer service experience required.

Minimum of two (2) years experience in health care preferred.

**SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS**:
Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills required for effective interaction with patients, families and staff.

Proficient working knowledge of personal computers required.

Ability to type 40 WPM accurately required.

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care appropriate to the age specific need and culture of the patient served.
