**Supervises**: Campus Safety Supervisor, Event & Rental Supervisor, Operations Logistics Coordinator

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**
- ** Areas of Responsibility for Safety**
- Visitor, Vendor, and Volunteer Management
- Develop, document, and enforce protocols to control access to the campus
- Coordinate with reception and security staff to monitor and register all guests to campus
- Provide training and guidance to staff on guest management procedures
- Education and Training
- Provide ongoing safety education and training for staff, faculty, and students
- Coordinate and conduct drills and training sessions for staff and students to ensure readiness in case of emergencies
- Stay informed about the latest safety and security technologies and better practices
- Foster a culture of safety awareness and responsibility throughout the school community
- Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment

- Risk Management
- Identify better practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices
- On a regular schedule, produce, review, and respond to a Site Gap analysis for each LHSOC property
- Implement and manage the organizational Workplace Violence Prevention Plan, including maintaining compliance with all legal requirements
- Regularly inspect LHSOC properties to identify and address potential safety hazards
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
- Implement corrective measures and provide recommendations to enhance safety protocols
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address safety-related maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate scheduling and execution of routine maintenance tasks to prevent safety issues
- Manage relationships with external vendors providing safety-related services
- Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services to establish effective communication channels
- Evaluate employee safety programs to determine their adequacy including review of short and long-term strategic safety planning and development
- Facility Management
- Maintain a comprehensive calendar of safety-related events, drills, and inspections
- Coordinate scheduling to minimize disruptions to campus activities while prioritizing safety requirements
- Critical Document Management
- Maintain detailed records of safety-related documentation, including inspection reports, Workplace Violence Prevention Plan, emergency plans, and incident reports up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders
- Develop, implement, and maintain emergency preparedness plans, ensuring they align with local regulations and better practices
- Ensure accessibility of safety documentation to relevant stakeholders as needed

Bachelor's Degree

**Experience**
- 3-5 years of related experience, required
