Financial Analyst

UBEO Business Services, the premier provider of business technology products and services, is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst to join our team in Chico, CA

UBEO is a distributor/servicer of document equipment and software solutions. Primary products include Xerox, Ricoh and Konica Minolta multi-functional equipment and Kyocera printers. UBEO specializes in electronic document management software and integrations.

The primary responsibility of this position is as follows:
**P**urpose**

Under the direction of the Director of Financial Operations, this position will be responsible for providing direct support for regional FP&A efforts, including financial and business analysis, annual planning, forecasting, financial modeling, strategic planning, M&A support and specialist projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with the execution of analytics projects and strategic initiatives
- Enhance and drive the annual budget and forecasting process for all departments
- Partner with business unit leaders, departmental leaders, and product line leaders and effectively communicate findings and insights (reports and in meetings)
- Assist with the development of enterprise reporting tools and dashboards while driving processes to rapidly deliver data-driven insights and recommendations
- Assist with preparation of monthly financial packages and key performance indicator (KPI) reports and provide insights to enable business decisions
- Analyze and interpret actual financial performance vs. operating plan, forecast and prior year results
- Generate financial forecasts (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow), review with management and identify key risks/opportunities
- Understand key drivers of product lines and profitability and provide recommendations
- Where appropriate, work with OEM partners on forecasts and key performance indicators
- Complete profit improvement projects across multiple states
- Prepare detailed budgets for sales volumes, gross margin, capital expenditures and depreciation
- Ensure accuracy; drive accountability for results
- Enhance and standardize the use of operational and financial data
- Streamline and improve planning processes and review operational processes
- Assist with M&A due diligence, financial modeling and other special projects on as needed basis

**Job Related Dimensions**
- 3+ years of experience in business analytics roles
- Strong attention to detail and always meets deadlines
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic who is highly team and results-oriented, inquisitive and enjoys problem-solving
- Excellent Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI, Powerpoint, MS Query, SQL, Altrex, Tableu skills
- Ability to gather, organize, analyze and present varied financial data
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with experience developing and delivering presentations
- Comfortable working across levels, influential and collaborative team player
- Experience working with an ERP package (E-Automate) preferred

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business w/ an emphasis in Accounting or Finance

**Physical Demands & Work Environment**
- Ability to sit at desk for prolonged periods at times.
- Ability to type and compose written communication in various forms.
- Ability to lift 20+lbs on occasion.
