**Position Role Type**:
Onsite
Conducts inspections of products (parts, assemblies, etc.) to validate compliance to requirements which include drawings, customer specifications, component maintenance manuals, and contract requirements for the FAA Repair Station.

**Compensation**:

- $3,500 Sign on Bonus*
- Eligible for Annual Increases

**1st Shift Schedule**:

- This position is for 1st shift.
- Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM
- Overtime available on a business need basis.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Familiar with and inspect multiple company products and/or commodities.
- Assure product & company documentation is complete & accurate prior to shipment.
- Maintain inspection records in an organized manner.
- Document product discrepancies per company procedures.
- Ability to prioritize numerous tasks to meet schedule needs.
- Understand & interpret technical data (Manuals, Prints, and Procedures)
- Use proper inspection methods & equipment.
- Answer quality & inspection questions to support operator’s needs.
- Maintain applicable skills, knowledge, & certifications as required.
- Complete SAP transactions per company procedures.
- Support Customer Source Inspection activities as needed.
- Generating the applicable return to service tag (FAA 8130-3, CAAC AAC-038, and Certificate of Conformance) in accordance with applicable government agencies requirements.
- Prioritize inspection activities to meet goals & schedule needs.
- Assure proper inspection coverage for area of responsibility.
- Assist & back-up other areas as needed.
- Train others in quality requirements & inspection tasks.
- Identify and implement improvement ideas.
- Deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals and support groups, in person, via telephone, and in writing.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Typically requires a HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is typically required.
- Part 65 FAA Certified Airframe and power plant License or a Repairman Certificate must be obtained within three months after hire.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Minimum 18 months experience in Aerospace
