**Summary**:
Baylor College of Medicine's Center for Precision Environmental Health is seeking a BCM Temporary - Administrative Support to assist with a variety of administrative tasks including, but not limited to, scheduling, purchasing, and transactions in Concur.
This is an in-office, temporary position, and the length of the assignment is up to three months. This position is not eligible for benefits. This position may convert to a permanent position.
**Job Duties**:
- Schedules appointments/meetings for faculty and senior staff, primarily for the Center Director.
- Prepares and processes purchasing orders.
- Orders and maintains office supplies, subscriptions, and dues.
- Pays invoices and processes travel reimbursements via SAP/SRM, including check requests, cash requests and journal voucher transfers for the unit.
- Places work orders for facility and equipment repairs as well as maintenance.
- Composes formal and informal correspondence including, but not limited to, creating and formatting presentations.
- Assists with updating faculty CVs.
- Assists with the department's timekeeping.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of relevant experience.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Four years of relevant experience.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects at the same time and the ability to function well under deadlines.
- Strong communication (oral and written) skills with all levels of employees.
- Computer software and word processing skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to effectively respond to time sensitive and confidential issues.
- Flexibility and ability to multi-task.
