Commercial Roofer

**About us**

We are small, family owned and operated commerical roofing company located in Standish, Maine.

We are seeking commercial roofering technicians to join our team. As a technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing EPDM, TPO and PVC membrane roofs on commercial buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights and in various weather conditions. If you have experience in construction we encourage you to apply.

**Duties**:

- Install and repair roofs single-ply membrane roofs on commercial buildings. Nearly all work is on flat roofs.
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs
- Remove old roofing materials safely and dispose of them properly
- Install insulation and vapor barriers as needed
- Fabricate and install metal flashings around roof penetrations
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete roofing tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of construction techniques related to roofing
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Ability to climb ladders
- Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools safely

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Construction: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Portland, ME (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
