SPORTIME clubs serve individuals of every age and athletic ability, 365 days a year.

**JOB SUMMARY**:The Retail Ops Assistant/Pro Shop Assistant ensures the smooth operation of the Pro Shop and oversees various aspects of retail operations and customer service to maintain high standards and drive sales.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Ensure Port Washington Desk staff is cross trained on all procedures and are able to assist customers when shop is not staffed with Pro Shop employees.
- Follow standard operating procedures and controls to ensure that Port Washington is efficiently well-stocked, clean and well-organized at all times. Sales floor and back of house organization.
- Ensure merchandising standards are followed, and floor changes are executed in a timely manner.
- Drive net sales through superior member service, and achieve budgeted P&L Pro Shop Plan.
- Manage and ensure timely turnaround of all racket restringing in Port Washington.
- Assist Director of Retail Operations in managing Central office inventory, special order racket requests, and uniform distribution.
- Utilize the Aptus system to assist clubs as necessary.
- Participate in quarterly and annual physical inventory counts.
- Ensure communication and follow up from the Port Washington Pro Shop team is consistent and supports company objectives.

**REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS**:

- Previous experience in retail operations or customer service preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a retail environment.
- Experience with merchandising and maintaining visual standards preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales through superior customer service.
- Proficiency in racket restringing techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with club management systems, such as Aptus, is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and management.
- Ability to travel and work varied hours to provide support to local clubs as needed for floor coverage and merchandising initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude

**SCHEDULE**: Part-time 20-29 hours/week. Monday to Friday and weekend availbility.

**COMPENSATION**: $22 - $25/per hour
