**Job Type: Contract**
**Location: Phoenix, AZ**
**Duration: 1 year**

Contract only position at this time (long term contract). Onsite 3 days/week (Tues-Thurs). Interviews will be virtual. The contractor will be working on the Refunds Application/Refunds Modernization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage product backlog & prioritize with Product Manager
- Assess impact from Internal and External Projects
- Work with business teams to elicit business needs and write user stories portraying business needs
- Ensure well defined acceptance criteria and work with agile product teams to ensure user stories and vision are clearly understood by team
- Support the agile product teams through the project implementation life cycle from start to finish
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies & comply w/ best practices
- Support QA team in understanding project requirements and support QA team in ensuring good test coverage and sign off
- Validate that acceptance criteria is met, accept user stories and participate and/or facilitate demos to stakeholders
- Communicates project status to the stakeholders through the project lifecycle
- Provide project administration support (develop project plan, conduct program meetings, compile reports & score cards)ADO or similar Agile project life cycle management tool
- Serves as one of the main points of contact for the team; must understand deliverables, timelines, technology

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or related field, and 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst/Business Analyst working with IT
- Product Owner implementing Agile Projects/3-5yrs min
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment
- Airline experience preferred, specifically in ticketing and Refunds
- Proficient in ADO or other Agile life cycle management tool
- Strong project management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under a constantly changing environment and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently
