Coordinates and communicates health and safety policies and programs to customers, both internal and external. Works with the Contracts and Sales Departments to complete EHS items for agreements and bids.

**Education and/or Experience**:
Degree from two-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develops and implements programs and policies for monitoring and preventing chemical, physical, and biological hazards at the facility.
- Surveys, compiles, and analyzes data relating to occupational and environmental health issues such as chemical exposure, radiation, smoke, fumes, noise, temperatures, dusts, vapors, mists, gases, solvents, lighting, and ergonomics which are known or suspected of being real or potential detriments to health.
- Performs field and safety measurements, safety evaluations & inspections, and hazardous waste evaluations.
- Develops or provides input to hazardous material communications, including maintaining material data sheets.
- Implements or recommends control measures for exposure to hazardous materials or conditions.
- Develops and facilities training for workers on issues related to health and safety.
- Updates and delivers employee training programs related to hazardous materials and waste.
- Investigates employee safety complaints and incidents.
- Maintains accurate records related to chemical inventories, complaint investigations and shipments of hazardous wastes.
- Support GPS monitoring by running reports, creating logins, managing inventory, managing non-reporting units, and other GPS duties as assigned.
- Maintains internal driver qualification system (U-Comply) by running reports on required documents and driver non-compliance, maintaining DOT drug testing compliance, confirm CDL pre-employment clearances.
- Maintain internal MVR monitoring program.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. This position will receive direction: receive guidance with respect to general objectives; in the majority of tasks and projects assigned, determine methods, work sequence, scheduling, and how to achieve objectives of assignments; operate within specific policy guidelines.

**Language Skills**:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
