**JOB PAY AND SCHEDULE**:
**$18/hour AND 40 hours per week**
**Sunday 930am-930pm (12 hour shift)**
**Monday 330pm-830pm (5 hour shift)**
**Tuesday 330pm-830pm (5 hour shift)**
**Wednesday DAY OFF**
**Thursday DAY OFF**
**Friday 330pm-930pm (6 hour shift)**
**Saturday 930am-930pm (12 hour shift)**

**LOCATION: Brooklyn, NY (Inside Clients Home)**

**JOB DUTIES**:

- Working with special needs and disabled children and teens with autism and other developmental, physical and mental health disabilities
- Job is performed in the client's home and in the community at recreational places such as the playground, amusement parks, pools, indoor place spaces, restaurants, shopping stores and more
- Babysitting the child inside and outside of the home, preparing light meals and snacks, administering medication, giving baths, changing diapers, engaging in positive play skills, reading and providing companionship
- Working on goals inside and outside of the home such as independence skills, behavior management and positive communication and social skills with peers

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Must have at least 1 year of VERIFIABLE experience caring for special needs or disabled children or adults (either professionally or personally)**

**Must be flexible, open and available for last minute schedule changes and on call hours**

**Must be willing to work 12 hour shift on weekends straight through with mínimal breaks (children cannot be left alone)**

**Must be able to work one full weekend a month from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon (either in the clients home or your home)**

**Must be able to work during ALL school holidays EXCEPT Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day (advance notice will be given)**
