**Job Summary**:
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting Dr. Brink in providing high-quality eye care services. You will be responsible for conducting various diagnostic tests, preparing patients for examinations, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to contribute to a practice that values teamwork, innovation, and excellence in patient care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Dr. Brink in performing glaucoma and comprehensive eye examinations and procedures.
- Conduct preliminary tests and gather patient medical histories.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as visual field testing, OCT, and UBM.
- Administer eye drops and medications as directed by the physician.
- Educate patients on pre
- and post-operative care and medication instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment.
- Manage patient flow and appointment scheduling.
- Provide excellent patient care and address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.

**Qualifications**:

- Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician (COA, COT, or COMT) preferred.
- Previous experience in an ophthalmic or medical setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using ophthalmic diagnostic equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Pay: $21.00 - $40.00 per hour
