Production Worker

**What we are looking for**:
We are seeking a Production Worker who is adaptable, efficient, and resourceful to support operations in achieving customer deliveries at our Ontario location. **What you will do**:

- Work as part of a production team to assemble packaging parts ensuring a consistent, efficient, quality product with high attention to detail
- Organize various packaging materials on tables, racks or bins to ensure an orderly and clean work space
- Assemble packaging parts manually using proper tools and machinery in a safe manner
- Work as a team or individually
- Receive and manage raw materials for product processing and
packaging
- Follow both written and verbal instructions to accurately gather raw materials, execute production to produce quality finished goods
- Perform rework, material bonding, labeling actives, boxing, palletizing and inspection of in process and finished products on a daily basis
- Follow all safety procedures and work to continuously improve safety throughout the plant and ensure timely and regular safety training goals are met
- Complete regular inspection of equipment and maintain a clean and neat work area
- Assist team members as needed or directed
- Maintain housekeeping standards and perform cleaning as assigned
- Support and comply with all company policies and safety requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned

**What you need to succeed**:

- 3 months of experience in manufacturing, production or similar industries
- Ability to use and read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
- Basic high school math skills to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement
- Able to read and follow instructions on master design document or drawings
- Must be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines
- Must be able to work in a collaborative, team environment in alignment with company culture and values
- Must have ability to understand and carry out instructions issued
