**Title**:AV Installation Technician Level 2

**Reports to**:Director of Integration

**Coordinates with**: Integration and Project Management

**Job Type**:Integration and Project Management

**Purpose and Scope**:The AV Installation Technician is responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment and systems.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Set up and install equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables for a variety of corporate and residential markets
- Install infrastructure cabling for data, phone and AV according to designated layout
- Test audio video and sound systems according to designated layout
- Program control systems
- Diagnose and correct media system problems
- Coordinate audio feeds with television images
- Identify equipment requiring repairs as needed
- Identify alternative solutions to onsite installation issues.
- Compile technical documents such as Serial Numbers and Warranties
- Train End Users on AV equipment
- Review Punch Lists with Project Manager prior to departure to Job site and again before leaving Job site.
- Provide Job specific feedback to Project Manager
- Complete Project Documentation as provided by Project Manager
- Pick up shipments of product/equipment as needed per Job
- Train Level 1 Technicians on building and installing equipment
- Ability to be the point person on a Job Site and assign duties to other Technicians as needed
- Load and unload work vehicles with product for the project
- Perform duties on location as assigned
- Company paid travel required (including weekends)

**Education & Skills**:

- High School Diploma
- Valid Drivers License
- Advanced knowledge of AV industry

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
