Reports to: Client Services Specialist - South Scottsdale

FLSA Status: non-exempt

**Job Qualifications**

The Client Services Specialist will have experience in working with families and children in a setting offering direct services. This position will provide services to families to improve their lives which includes an evaluation of the client's needs and arranging assistance programs, such as daycare, food programs and affordable housing resources. Ideally, the Client Services Specialist has hands-on experience working with individuals in crisis.

**Education/Certifications**

High School diploma required

**Experience**

Must have a minimum of one-year experience in working in office setting or related work environment

**Essential Functions**
- Respect for cultural differences including the ability to interact effectively with people of different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds
- Experience and comfort in diverse communities
- Experience in community outreach
- Highly experienced with technology used for communications, resources and program delivery
- Highly skilled in prioritizing tasks, handling multiple assignments, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining strict attention to detail
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Receptive and responsive to coaching, supervision, and feedback works well in team setting
- Assists in managing congregational communications, transportation of guest to and from nightly shelter at congregations, and family change communication with host coordinators.
- Facilitates, with the direction of the Director of Social Work, screening process of families to conduct baseline and follow-up assessments
- Maintain timely and through intake case records
- Available for families to assist with personal needs and supply families with work and family related transportation solutions.
- Maintain adequate supply of resources in Family Center for families.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience with cloud-based client database systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be physically able to perform all job duties which may include bending, lifting and kneeling.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Job Summary**

The Client Services Specialist must possess great interpersonal and communication skills. This role requires patience, poise through adversity, a controlled temperament and great attention to detail. Requires exceptional organization skills, the ability to work well with staff and clients, maintain confidentiality, multi-task and problem solve effectively. Bilingual is a plus.

Occasional weekend support required.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
