**Job Title: Controller**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Record Keeping and Data Entry**:

- Maintain complete and accurate financial records, including but not limited to, invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
- Enter financial transactions into the accounting software system with precision and attention to detail.

**2. Accounting & Reporting**:

- Responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data and identify/resolve any discrepancies or errors.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring deadlines are met and financial statements are accurate.

**3. Financial Planning and Analysis**:

- Analyze financial data and performance, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain internal procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency throughout the financial processes.
- Assist with the development and implementation of financial strategies and plans.

**4. Administrative Support**:

- Provide administrative support as needed, including filing, copying, and scanning documents.
- Assist with various projects and tasks as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with a proven track record of success and exposure to small business financial matters.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work individually or collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
