**Job Description**:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our dynamic team. As a Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of marine construction projects, contributing to the creation of innovative and functional waterfront structures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed drawings, plans, and blueprints using **SolidWorks** for marine projects like docks, piers, and seawalls.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to understand project requirements, specifications, and objectives.
- Translate conceptual designs and client preferences into precise technical drawings and schematics, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather relevant data and measurements for project planning and design.
- Incorporate environmental factors, safety considerations, and regulatory requirements into design proposals, prioritizing functionality, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from stakeholders, addressing design modifications, technical challenges, and budget constraints as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including material lists, cost estimates, and construction specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to marine construction and drafting practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification in drafting, engineering, architecture, or related field.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, preferably SolidWorks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Knowledge of marine construction principles, materials, and techniques is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and codes governing marine construction and waterfront development.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in marine construction or a related industry is advantageous.

Pay: $25.90 - $31.19 per hour
