Nursery Supervisor

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nursery Supervisor to oversee the operations of our nursery. As a Nursery Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the nursery, ensuring the health and growth of plants, and providing excellent customer service.

**Duties**:

- Manage all aspects of the nursery, including plant care, inventory management, and customer service
- Supervise and train nursery staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Monitor plant growth and health, identifying and addressing any issues or diseases
- Assist customers with plant selection, providing expert advice on care and maintenance
- Utilize hand tools to perform tasks such as pruning, potting, and transplanting
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
- Collaborate with landscapers and gardeners to provide plants for landscaping projects

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a nursery or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of greenhouse operations and plant care techniques
- Ability to irrigate plants effectively based on their specific needs
- Experience in growing a variety of plants, including trees, shrubs, flowers, and vegetables
- Proficient in record keeping
- Familiarity with basic math skills for inventory management purposes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and staff
