Los deberes y responsabilidades incluyen, entre otros, los siguientes:
- Seguir el plan de atención para brindar asistencia segura y competente al cliente, comprender las limitaciones y necesidades de cada cliente individual.
- Ayudar al cliente a mantener una buena higiene personal y ayudar a mantener un ambiente sano y seguro.
- Fomentar el estado de alerta mental del cliente mediante la participación en actividades de interés.
- Proporcionar servicios domésticos básicos (es decir, preparación de comidas, lavandería, tareas domésticas ligeras).
- Brindar compañía y entablar una conversación con el cliente.
- Asistir con problemas de movilidad, ayudando al cliente a subir y bajar de la cama, silla de ruedas, etc.
- Recuerdar al cliente que tome medicamentos.
- Cambiar la ropa de cama con regularidad.
Los cuidadores deben poseer los siguientes requisitos y calificaciones para ser considerados para el empleo.
- Dispuesto a someterse a una verificación de antecedentes.
- Buenas habilidades de comunicación y excelentes habilidades de conversación.
- Paciencia y capacidad para mantener la calma en situaciones estresantes.
- Personalidad cálida y afectuosa.
- Compromiso de tratar al cliente con dignidad y respeto.
- Disponibilidad flexible.
- Certificación CNA, HHA o PCA (Requerido para la POSICIÓN Live In /PCA)
