Desert Oasis Healthcare (DOHC), a leading medical group serving over 60,000 Medicare Advantage HMO and Commercial HMO members across the Coachella Valley and Greater Morongo Basin, is seeking a dynamic Social Media & Public Relations Coordinator to join our Marketing team.

**Responsibilities**:
**Social Media**:

- Develop and execute social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower base.
- Create and curate engaging content, including text, image, and video posts, tailored to different audience segments and demographics.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities to engage with our audience effectively.
- Implement paid social media advertising campaigns to support key marketing initiatives and drive measurable results.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and generate regular reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

**Public Relations**:

- Assist in developing and implementing public relations strategies to enhance DOHC's reputation and visibility in the community.
- Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage and opportunities for DOHC.
- Draft press releases, pitches, and other communications materials to communicate key messages and announcements effectively.
- Monitor media coverage and sentiment related to DOHC, and respond to inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.

**Content Creation**:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Digital Marketing Senior Lead and Clinical teams, to create compelling content for various digital platforms, including the DOHC website, blog, podcast, and YouTube channel.
- Support the production of branded videos, podcasts, and other multimedia content, from concept development to post-production editing and distribution.
- Ensure all content adheres to DOHC's brand guidelines, messaging standards, and regulatory requirements.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the Director of Marketing, Digital Marketing Senior Lead, and other team members to align social media and public relations activities with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Clinical team to promote health education, wellness programs, and community events through social media and PR channels.
- Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and partners as needed to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, public relations, or digital marketing, preferably in the healthcare or related industry.
- 2+ years of proven experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant social media platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for different audiences and channels.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and familiarity with SEO principles.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging audiences through digital and traditional media.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with graphic design, video editing, or content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance is desirable.
- Able to work effectively and efficiently in a remote work environment.
- Experience using Zoom, or other video conferencing apps.
