**Job Summary**:
The Quality Calibration Technician specializing in Precision Gaging is responsible for ensuring the precision and accuracy of Precision Gaging and equipment through meticulous calibration, testing, and maintenance. This role is critical in maintaining high-quality production standards and ensuring that all gaging and machines operate within specified tolerances.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Calibration and Testing:
Calibrate Precision Gaging and equipment to ensure they meet industry and company specifications.

Utilize precision measurement instruments to verify the accuracy of tooling.

Perform routine and scheduled calibration checks on all gaging.

2. Quality Assurance:
Inspect and test Precision Gaging to ensure they meet quality standards.

3. Maintenance and Repair:
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with gaging and equipment.

Repair or replace defective components as necessary.

Perform preventive maintenance to ensure long-term accuracy and functionality of tools and gages.

4. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of calibration activities, results, and corrective actions taken.

Prepare and present reports on tool performance, calibration results, and quality issues.

5. Technical Support and Training:
Provide technical support to production and engineering teams regarding Precision Gaging and calibration.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in Precision Gaging and calibration technologies.

6. Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Participate in safety training sessions and promote a culture of safety within the workplace.

**Qualifications**:
Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field preferred but not required (e.g., CNC technology, mechanical engineering, metrology).

**Experience**:
Proven experience in calibration and quality assurance of gaging (preferred)

Familiarity with various precision measurement instruments.

Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators.

Strong problem-solving skills.
