**Responsibilities**:
**In your job, you will have the ability to make a difference in a patient's journey by**:

- Assist with admixing drugs as ordered by physician in an accurate and timely manner as per department guidelines and preparing all drugs within OSHA guidelines and interoffice guidelines.
- Assist in counting controlled drugs weekly and maintain records; properly dispose all materials used when mixing chemo or non-chemo IVs.
- Assist with required cleaning and maintenance of the admix area and the pharmacy department.
- Assist with quality assurance activities as assigned.
- Assist in keeping accurate temperature logs, accurate logs on all protocol drugs and patient assistance drugs, and proper control documentation of medications including lot numbers.
- Calculate correct dosage volumes, converting between metric and apothecary equivalents.
- Check all orders for completeness of information; verify patient information and proper physician authorization. Provide support with inventory control of medications.

Qualifications:
**This position allows for all levels of experience.
**Minimum Qualifications:
**High School Diploma or equivalent.

**What you bring to the team:
- PTCB Certification preferred or achieved within first year of working.
- Oncology experience preferred. Sterile compounding experience preferred.

**The safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Masks may be requested in all Arizona Oncology facilities regardless of vaccination status. COVID vaccination is recommended.
