A group of TODDLERS at the First Baptist Church of Clarendon Child Development Center is looking for a grown-up who likes runny noses and dirty diapers as much as they like hugs and kisses.

If you hold a CDA, Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and you speak 'toddler-eze', sing, dance, read books as many times as you are asked to, welcomes the feel of playdoh, finger paint and slime in you hands, enjoys long walks in the rain and are willing to play in the mud please apply.

- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the FBCC CDC's early care and learning philosophies and frameworks
- Provide a variety of planned and prepared active and participatory opportunities to enhance cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Use effective behavior guidance techniques aligned with FBCC CDC's ear;y care and learning philosophies and frameworks
- Foster a safe and inclusive care setting that encourages creativity and exploration
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and coordinate activities and events
- Monitor and assess children's growth and development, providing feedback to parents/guardians as needed
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones

- CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience working with children in an early childhood setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Familiarity with literacy education, physical education, and special education practices
- Excellent classroom management skills to create an organized and structured learning environment
- Understanding of child welfare guidelines and regulations

The FBCC CDC offers competitive compensation, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Pay: $14.50 - $20.00 per hour

License/Certification:

- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (preferred)
