Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced **Warehouse Manager** with **strong** **Inventory** **Experience** for a distribution warehouse in the south suburbs.

You must be able to manage inventory accurately, pick orders, and ensure successful and timely flow of all warehouse operations.

The Warehouse Manager will, on occasion, fill in for route delivery drivers during vacations or unexpected absences so a clean driving record is a must, being comfortable with driving a box truck, and familiar with the Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana roads and highways.

**Details**
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Verify received shipments by checking order against packing slip/purchase order.
- Create purchase orders.
- Maintain the correct rotation of all stored goods.
- Pull and fulfill orders as needed sometimes shipping via UPS WorldShip.
- Organize inbound/outbound shipments as needed, creating the Bill of Lading.
- Pick route drivers loads for the next day’s deliveries.
- Create purchase orders, pick lists, and shipping documents.
- Maintain set par levels and communicate issues to supervisors.
- Follow-up on shortages/back orders.
- Investigate and troubleshoot variances in inventory counts.
- Provides coverage in other departments as needed.
- Maintains the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner.
- Must have good customer service and people skills.
- Able to interact well with co-workers.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.

**Requirements**:

- Previous Warehouse Management with Inventory Control required.
- Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Strong computer inventory system management.
- Comfortable using a tablet for customer deliveries and signatures.
- PC skills Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and UPS WorldShip.
- Able to drive a box truck and is familiar with Chicagoland/Northwest Indiana roadways.
- Ability to pick orders from a walk-in freezer when required.
- Clean driving record.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
