Available Position : P&C Underwriter (Commercial Fire, Commercial Package, Homeowners)

Career Level: Entry Level

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs work with limited guidance from senior team members or a supervisor.
- Evaluate new business, policy changes, and renewal accounts working within specified guidelines to make decisions and knowingly take risk.
- Rate, quote, and bind risk based on acceptability, coverage, and pricing of small, middle renewals and new business.
- Underwrite terms and conditions and establish pricing for new and renewal business by gathering, reviewing, and analyzing account information.
- Understand form language and research coverage and class code opinions.
- Maintain accurate file documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
- Work effectively in a team setting; contribute to the creation and sustaining of a high-performance team by embracing and understanding team and unit goals
- Coordinate with manager and other internal partners

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree, business-related curriculum preferred.
- 1+ year of Property Casual Insurance experience preferred.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Aptitude for critical thinking and problem resolution.
- Intermediate level of computer proficiency with experience on insurance company systems.
- Inherent desire to embrace change and pursue continuous improvement.
- Team player with collaborative attitude.
- Incumbents are required to obtain all required authority (quote, issue Underwriting level) within 3 months of transitioning to the floor. Failure to meet the necessary requirements may result in termination of incumbents' employment.

**Compensation**:

- Benefit packages that includes health, dental, vision and life insurance
- 401K (after 1 year from the start date)
- Paid vacation & Sick days, and etc
- Compensation : $55,000~$70,000/Yr

**Other qualification**:
※ Applicants Must be authorized to work in the United States (OPT Holders are eligible)

Limited business travel may be required
