Reporting to the Director of Quality Management, the Clinical Trainer is responsible for the organization & development, delivery or planning of all training related to evidence-based practices agency wide. In partnership with HR & program directors, the Clinical trainer is responsible for the development of programmatic training plans, training curriculum, and leading a committee of trainers to deliver training to meet programmatic, DMC, DMH, CARF, and DHCS standards.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for the planning, scheduling, or the delivery of training to all programs and to the community that will help meet training standards set forth by Phoenix House California contractors and accreditation bodies.
- Cultivates a culture of continuous learning and development at the individual, team, and organizational levels by delivering relevant clinical training throughout Phoenix House programs to enhance people, processes, and performance to help Phoenix House achieve its clinical priorities, enhance clinical competency, and maintain its competitive advantage.
- Acts as the lead and co-chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee efforts by coordinating and facilitating monthly meetings in partnership with the Executive team and HR.
- Leads the planning, developing, and conducting of Phoenix House of California program training and related activities, including the development of training plans and the execution of training plans.
- As part of training plan development, establishes and manages the scheduling on training for each program annually. Creates an annual training plan on a fiscal year basis (July 1 through June 30th).
- Plans, schedules or Facilitates delivery of, but not limited to, evidence-based practices, clinical training, including therapeutic Interventions, assessment methods, trauma-Informed services, and crisis management.
- Works with Program Directors to schedule and deliver training in accordance with an annual training plan and spontaneous assignments based on immediate need. Ensures tracking of all required annual trainings required by counties or state.
- Responsible for proper utilization of the Phoenix House learning management system (Relias). Including, but is not limited to, development of employee training plans, communicating with Directors on implementation of Relias training plans, communicating with directors on employees that are not meeting minimum training requirements
- Works with program directors and their staff to ensure mandated training programs are delivered in coordination with established standards. Ensure all trainings are completed by staff by running Relias reporting and working closely with Program Directors to ensure completion rates are above 80%.
- Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis, career paths, and consultation with managers. Assess at minimum of twice a year.
- Develop individualized and group training programs that address specific program needs.
- Develop training manuals that target tangible results.
- Implement effective and purposeful training methods.

- Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training is meeting program needs and improving performance.

- Attends all required staff training sessions in accordance with Phoenix House and state licensing requirements, completes all training on time

- Adheres to and promotes the Phoenix House Mission, Vision, and Values while acting as a role model for others

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS**
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
- AMFT or ACSW with current California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) Registration required.
- LMFT or LCSW with current California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) Registration a plus
- Must maintain registration or licensure as a condition of employment.
- Experience in Substance Abuse or Mental Health preferred
- Experience with SPAC, DMH, Community Care Licensing, and other governing bodies preferred
- Evidenced-Based Trained/Certified in MAP, TF-CBT, SS Preferred
- One (1) year experience in the design and development of training preferred
- Must maintain a valid California Drivers' License, have proof of automobile insurance and maintain a safe driving record based on Phoenix House policy

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
