The Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce will help define, test, and deliver product solutions to maximize business value. The Business Systems Analyst, Salesforce will conduct customer research and collaborate with key stakeholders across UCLA to gather business requirements and help translate them into functional and technical requirements. They will conduct analyses, create process models, document requirements, and work with their product team to ensure that the solutions developed meet the desired business outcomes. Through the use of various analytical tools and methodologies, they will identify trends and opportunities that can drive innovation and efficiency in UCLA's technological offerings. In addition, they will contribute to the strategic planning process by providing insights and data-driven recommendations to help shape the university's IT roadmap. This role will also support the product team's delivery and sustainment of an excellent end-to-end customer experience.-

- UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. **Qualifications**
- Three years Experience working in one or more of the following fields: computer science, computer information systems, BSA (Business Systems Analyst), or related field. (required)
- Experience conducting or facilitating requirement gathering interviews or sessions. Experience utilizing analytics tools to measure success, present opportunities, and support decision-making. (required)
- Five or more years Experience working in one or more of the following fields: computer science, computer information systems. (preferred)
- Two or more years Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Salesforce Admin (preferred)
- Experience working with Workplace or other similar cloud solutions. (preferred)
- Experience working in higher education or a similarly federated environment. (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to identify key issues critical to the organization's need and the success of a desired product, service and enhancement. (required)
- Proven record of delivering end-to-end, user-centered products by considering stakeholder requirements, user research, market analysis, data, customer feedback, and technical constraints or opportunities. (required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and is able to communicate technical information and ideas to a diverse community of colleagues and stakeholders. (required)
- Able to establish and advance positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members, stakeholders, and customers. (required)
- Strong organizational skills and is able to balance competing priorities and support concurrent projects. Ability to work in a project-based environment using project management practices. (required)
- Strong demonstrated problem-solving skills; scopes solutions based on knowledge of available resources and timelines. Able to ask questions, gather information, evaluate options, and make decisions with integrity. (required)
- Able to participate in activities to advance an inclusive environment that values equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. (required)

**Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations**
- Bachelor's Degree Business administration, organization development, communication, or public administration, or a related field,, or equivalent combination of experience/training. (required)

- Salesforce Certified Business Analyst (preferred)
- Marketing Cloud Administrator (preferred)
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (preferred)

8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. PT, Monday through Friday and/or variable based upon operational needs.
