Counselor - Partials

Overview:
**Full Time Counselor 40 Hours Day**

**Castle Partial Program**

**1000 Atlantic Avenue Camden NJ 08030 (Virtua facility)**

**Monday-Friday**

**$20-$22 per hour PLUS full benefits (equivalent to about $15k yearly)**

**MUST have a bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.**

**Experience with children in behavioral & mental health.**

Provides for the direct care and management of patient population of a partial care treatment center.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains a therapeutic and safe environment for all patients
- Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the patient’s treatment plan.
- Provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context.
- Accurately records daily patient progress in the medical record as well as completing other required paperwork.
- Rides along with the van driver to transport patients to and from the program.
- Maintains certification in _Handle with Care_ behavior management system.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- BA in Psychology, Social Work or related field required.
