As a Full-Time Teller, you will play a vital role at your branch, for both your teammates and UW Credit Union’s members. Your job is to make a positive impact on members lives by accurately and enthusiastically performing a variety of transactions to meet their needs. **Responsibilities**:
**A Day in the Life of a Teller**
- Each day will be a different adventure. Below is a snapshot of what your day could look like:_
- Welcome and assist members at the Wauwatosa branch, representing UW Credit Union.
- Strive to meet performance goals in line with our Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
- Keep a good understanding of all UW Credit Union products and services.
- Ensure accurate and efficient handling of member requests at the Teller line.
- Follow UW Credit Union's Cash Management policies and procedures.
- Investigate potential errors in Teller transactions and communicate with affected members.
- Build relationships with members, understand their needs, offer recommendations, and make referrals when appropriate.
- Look for ways to exceed our members' expectations.
- Work with your branch team to address member and branch needs.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of prior experience in customer service.
- Confidence with cash handling and transactions.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with customers from diverse age groups and backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills.
- Collaborative team player who is also comfortable working independently in a self-directed environment.
- Comfortable using computers and mobile devices.
- Skilled in resolving issues and demonstrating empathy when needed.
