**Responsibilities**
- Process full-cycle payroll for a diverse client base, ensuring accuracy, compliance with relevant regulations, and timely delivery
- Gathering information on hours worked for each employee
- Calculating the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system
- Receiving approval from upper management for payments when needed
- Preparation of 401k census from payroll records
- Perform bookkeeping duties including but not limited to managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Preparation of 1099s
- Collaborate with team members to resolve any payroll or bookkeeping discrepancies or issues.
- Stay current on federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to payroll to ensure compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any payroll or bookkeeping-related inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Assist with year-end closing procedures

**Requirements**:
Quickbooks Online (1-2 years minimum)

ADP Payroll (1-2 years minimum)

Excellent client relations and communication skills

Organized and able to work independently

Able to work in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook

High school diploma or equivalent; BS/BA in business, accounting or relevant field is a plus
