**Position Description**:

- The Asset Forfeiture Division is charged with the responsibility of investigating and prosecuting all seizures of contraband pursuant to Chapter 59 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure. This is a civil process which is separate and distinct from the filing and disposition of criminal charges.**Harris County is an Equal Opportunity Employer**Requirements**:

- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.-
- Must be a licensed attorney.**Preferences**:

- Prior experience in civil and criminal law is a plus.

**Salary**:

- $98,467.20 - $117,644.80 Annually
- Salaries vary by level of experience:

- Felony 3 - $98,467.20 | Felony 2 - $117,644.80
- Depends on Qualifications
- Based on 26 Pay Periods
- Plus, benefits

**Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen.**
