Composites Technician

1. Requires the layout, setup and construction of composite production tooling; under the control and direction of higher classified labor grades-including the individual responsibility for product self-inspection.
2. Layout, fabricate and assemble all types of tools. Work on tools with angles and mold line contours.
3. Establish and coordinate close tolerance holes, edges and reference points between tools as required. Use precision measuring equipment while fabricating tools.
4. Interpret tool design, sketches, and engineering drawings and have working knowledge of simple shop math.
5. Use resin systems for building up material, potting bushings and other necessary tooling procedures.
9/80 work schedule
3-5 years’ experience in the aerospace industry
Does not require a clearance

Pay: $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
