Concrete Finisher

Pessoa Construction Company, Inc., is a general contractor in heavy highway construction located in Fairmount Heights, MD. We have been building the future for over 40 years and aspire to continue to grow and expand. Our company strives to deliver a complete product that exceeds our client's expectations for safety, quality, and functionality every time. We are looking for a Concrete Finisher, hiring immediately.

We are looking for Concrete Finishers with experience working on Heavy Highway Bridge and/or Concrete Construction projects in Maryland. Experience with projects for Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) is a plus, but not necessary.

**Responsibilities**:

- Place and align forms for sidewalks, curbs and gutters
- Place, finish, and cure concrete for heavy civil construction projects (sidewalks, curbs, gutters, bridges, barriers, etc.)
- Other responsibilities may be assigned

**Qualifications**:

- At least 2 years of Concrete Finishing experience (not required, but a plus)
- Ability to withstand outdoor environment during all seasons
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

**Experience**:

- Heavy Civil Construction: 2 years (preferred)
- Concrete finishing: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- Spanish (required)

License/Certification:

- Driver's License (preferred)
