Medical Scribe

**Responsibilities**:

- Scribe/patient coordinator/assistant duties for Doctors and office.
- Assure all study requirements are documented and meet both internal and external regulations in accordance with protocol guidelines.
- Maintain logs and database and data entry/resolution queries in a timely manner.
- Schedules and participates in monitoring visits and participate in multidisciplinary program meetings.
- Maintain and coordinate, implement all research activities which also include patient scheduling. Assist team in research activities.
- Understanding of Good Clinical Practice guidelines, Code of Federal Regulations, Clinical trials monitoring, Regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrates leadership abilities required.
- Strong qualitative skills and knowledge of study design.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Suite and Web Databases
- Compliant with Federal and State Law and Regulations, which include privacy, confidentiality and security laws—such as HIPAA, HITECH and OSHA.
- Maintains all records for IRB, PI/SubPI, and Sponsor paperwork and completion.
- Coordinates appropriate staff training.
- Other office duties as required by supervisors.
- Acts as the primary administrative point of contact for internal research staff and as the principle operational liaison for other research organizations, funding agencies and regulating bodies.
- Coordinates the day-to-day activities of any technical support staff specifically engaged in the carrying out of research/clinical protocol, as appropriate to the position; may perform aspects of research protocol, as required, in accordance with specified program objectives
- Plans, implements, and maintains data collection and analysis systems in support of research
- Patient coordination for doctors (orders/tests/medical records).
- This is a front office, back office coordination position - will be responsible as an individual and team to learn and share tasks. You will also be a back up in front office (scheduling/messages) where needed.
