**Job Title: Launch Operator**

**Type of Position: Seasonal Full Time**

**Duration**:April-October**

**Compensation: Competitive Based on Experience**

**Reports to: Dockmaster**

The Eastern Yacht Club is seeking a skilled and licensed Launch Operator for the 2024 season. As a Launch Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our launch services, providing members and guests with exceptional service and experiences on the water.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and navigate the club's launch vessels in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all US Coast Guard regulations and club policies.
- Transport members, guests, and supplies between the club and moored boats with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of launch vessels, ensuring timely service for our members
- Communicate effectively with the Dockmaster and other staff to coordinate schedules, respond to member requests, and address any issues or emergencies that may arise.

**Requirements**:

- Valid US Coast Guard license (Limited Master's License or tonnage license preferred).
- Previous experience operating launch vessels or similar watercraft.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
