The Cade Museum for Creativity & Invention (Cade Museum), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization located in Gainesville, Florida, is excited to announce an opening for the role of Education Manager. We are looking for an adaptable, creative, articulate, dynamic, and highly motivated individual to join our innovative team. This is a full-time position within a vibrant, entrepreneurial environment. Please note that there is a three-month probationary period for all new hires.

As the Education Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences at the Cade Museum. Your responsibilities will span all stages of the educational content development cycle, including brainstorming, researching, outlining, testing, training, delivering, and refining content based on feedback. You will lead and manage the education coordinator team, oversee the delivery of engaging educational programs, and ensure that all content meets our high standards of quality. Additionally, you will provide strategic direction for both new and existing educational initiatives.

We seek a reliable, self-motivated individual who can proactively identify and address needs as they arise. A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential for success in this role.

The Education Manager reports to the Senior Manager of Education.

**General Responsibilities**
- Manage, train, and develop the Education Coordinator team while empowering the team to think, act, and plan in a collaborative and creative manner
- Oversee the development and delivery of training materials related to educational content
- Provide management and educational oversight for Cade Camps, Cade’s early childhood program, field trips, and teach programs as necessary
- Assist in the development of new and innovative ideas and curricula for content supporting Cade’s proprietary educational framework
- Cross-department communication related to current and upcoming curricula and educational programs
- Develop and implement goals, objectives, plans and budgets for assigned management areas
- Maintain organized digital files of Cade’s educational content
- Management of supplies and budget for assigned areas
- Act with discretion and professionalism to create a positive image for Cade among supporters and the public
- Perform other duties as necessary or assigned

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Science, Outreach, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of teaching or public outreach (formal or non-formal)
- Experience managing small teams preferred
- Experience with education and STEAM-based programs and products preferred
- Advanced communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as a part of a team

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
