Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Inspect and test fire alarm systems as per NFPA 72
- Conduct & pass FDNY tests
- Service calls: Troubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions with alarm systems
- Wire fire alarm panels, install components, ensure correct component wiring, and identify proper voltage output on all system components
- Troubleshoot field devices and circuits faults
- Generate system status reports upon completion of troubleshooting work
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and materials used
- Maintain positive client relations through professional interactions with clients

**Experience**:

- 4+ years fire alarm work experience with S-98 certification
- Proficiency in IDS, low voltage systems, and security systems
- Knowledge of power tools for installation purposes
- Familiarity with computer networking for system integration
- Ability to work with cabling and understand schematics
- Experience in alarm system sales is a plus
- Skills in telecommunication for system connectivity
- Good communication, customer service, teamwork skills.
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
