**Responsibilities**:
**Summary**

To ensure plant remains compliant with all regulatory and internal cleaning and sanitation requirements.
- Accountable for personal adherence to all applicable Safety, GMP, Food Safety, and Plant Policies.
- Complete a minimum of 2 Observation and 2 Near miss audits per month.
- Observe all Safety precautions, GMP’s and Plant rules to prevent injury to self or others and to prevent loss of material or damage to equipment.
- Follow and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain good housekeeping and 5S.
- Cleans equipment and facility as indicated on the Master Sanitation Schedule and complete and required paperwork.
- Performs Regulatory cleaning duties.
- Ability to move full chemical drums utilizing two wheel drum mover and any other material handling equipment.
- Cleans work areas, tools, and equipment as needed and directed by Production Manager, Plant Director, or other members of management.
- Assist in machine relocation and equipment moves throughout the facility.
- Perform any other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

- Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
- Capable of maintaining an attendance record within company guidelines and working required overtime.
- Excellent attendance required
- Electrically and/or mechanically able to resolve basic issues.
- Must be able to operate aerial lift performing tasks at elevated height.
- Must be able to operate lift truck and attachments.

**Education**

GED or High School Diploma required

**Work Environment**

Food Safety/GMP Manufacturing Environment

Regularly required to walk, lift and carry materials
