Denim Production

BJD Inc. seeks a Los Angeles based Denim Production/Development Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with suppliers to source fabrications selected by the Design team and management that meets the designated price point
- Stay up to date on various constructions, wash techniques, and fabric processes.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of Wash panels, Proto samples, Trim, and PP/TOP samples.
- Communicate comments and/or corrections for all submits directly to suppliers.
- Maintain an organized library of all Proto and Production samples for reference
- Keep an internal T&A calendar with overseas suppliers to lock in a production schedule.
- Ensure the timely receipt of correct bulk production.
- Inspecting all production for correctness

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Denim, Construction and Techniques.
- Strong organization skills and the ability to adapt on the fly.
- Strong communication skills and a team first mentality.
- Experience working with suppliers out of China, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan is a plus, but not a requirement.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
