- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners and visitors
- Assist with the care and handling of animals in the kennel facility
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to veterinary staff
- Maintain accurate records of animal care, including feeding schedules, medications, and any observed changes in behavior or health

- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of animal handling techniques and basic animal care practices
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills with both pet owners and veterinary staff
- Knowledge of basic dog training principles is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
