About The Job

We are seeking a full-time entry-level GIS Analyst to join our GIS team. The GIS Analyst will be based in the Environmental division but provide support for all disciplines in the firm.

Duties and Responsibilities (may include some or all of the below):

- Creates hard copy and digital map products using ArcGIS Pro for various reports, meetings and exhibits to clients, jurisdictions and end-users

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with major course work in geography, planning, ecology or related field with an emphasis in GIS (or GIS certificate)
- Demonstrated cartographic ability, including design principles and understanding of map creation procedures and standards.
- Experience working with end-users to determine GIS needs.
- Demonstrated experience with ESRI Field Maps and Portal for ArcGIS
- Demonstrated ability to assimilate biological, cultural and other environmental resources information from a variety of sources and present the information in map, tabular, chart, written and oral formats.
- Ability to interpret technical planning drawings.
- Knowledge or interest in biological resources and planning.

Preferred Qualifications
- Applicable work experience/internships
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator a plus.

- This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
