Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. In this role, you will assist the Property Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining property standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for real estate and customer service. Duties: - Assist with leasing activities, including conducting property tours, screening applicants, and preparing lease agreements - Handle tenant inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner - Maintain accurate tenant records and files - Assist with rent collection and ensure all payments are processed correctly - Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, working closely with vendors and contractors - Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and property standards - Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets - Support the Property Manager in implementing marketing strategies to attract new tenants Experience: - Previous experience in property management or related field preferred - Knowledge of file management systems and procedures - Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs is a plus - Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills - Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and practices - Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants - Basic understanding of contract and legal administrative processes - Ability to handle conflicts and difficult situations with professionalism - Proficient in customer relationship management (CRM) software - Knowledge of property maintenance principles We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
