**The Opportunity**:
The Lead Wave Planner is responsible for distributing and coordinating work in their assigned area. In addition, the lead follows up with employees to ensure the assigned workload is completed. By researching discrepancies and collaborating with the appropriate areas to understand the priorities and the workflow. Looking for an individual who is both analytical and enthusiastic, who can promote our company culture in their daily work.

- Following and promoting the DC Safety regulations.
- Following and maintaining Housekeeping and 5S guidelines.
- Work with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Monitor workflow through communicating with supervisors and management to understand current needs.
- Release waves based on wave sequence and schedule.
- Monitors exceptions that prevent waves from releasing and/or from fully completing
- Responsible for the timely resolution of order to ensure KPI’s are met.
- Communicate with supervisor any concerns or delays in processing orders with the goal of meeting the key performance indicators.
- React to requests to adjust priorities and assign waves.
- Communicate regularly with peers and management.
- Monitor work queue/assign work.
- Monitor open waves and react to waves greater than 24 hours.
- Perform the role of triage processor.
- Collaborate with the triage team to resolve order delays.
- Properly record Data.
- Flexibility to work in other areas as necessary.
- Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by your manager or supervisor.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:
In this position the incumbent is required to provide direction to employees, but the incumbent does not issue disciplinary action

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

High School Diploma or GED and 2 or more year of related experience

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Bilingual in Spanish a must.

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

**REASONING ABILITY**

**COMPUTER SKILLS**

Intermediate and above knowledge of Microsoft Office.
