ILLA Canna is a growing movement in the Cannabis industry and we need motivated and dedicated workers to start building our brand. We have built new warehouses with moveable tiered growing platforms that will support our hydroponically grown cannabis crops. Our building will support our own line of flowers, edibles, concentrates, and so much more. But we cannot start without growing the best quality flower without giving the best attention to our plants. We are looking for someone to manage our day-to-day cultivation operations and provide support through all stages of plant growth and manufacturing. Every day will present different challenges and you will be looked at consistently to provide the best service and innovative solutions for your team to produce the highest quality products.

**About the Job**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cultivation Management: Oversee the entire cannabis cultivation process from planting to harvest, including cloning, transplanting, pruning, and feeding.
- Team Leadership: Lead the cultivation team during day-to-day activities and ensuring that daily tasks are performed as scheduled.
- Plant Health Monitoring: Monitor plant health, identify any issues, and discuss findings with Cultivation Supervisor or Director to enable corrective action to ensure optimal growth and yield.
- Environmental monitoring: Record CO2, relative humidity, light intensity and temperature.
- Irrigation and Fertilization: Ensure irrigation and fertilization systems are operational and providing essential water and nutrients as desired.
- Quality Control: Ensure all cultivation activities adhere to company quality standards and protocols, including cleanliness and sanitation practices.
- Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to cannabis cultivation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Provide regular maintenance on all cultivation equipment.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to protect employees and the quality of the product.

**Desired Qualities and Skills**:

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in cannabis cultivation.
- Education: Bachelors degree in horticulture, agronomy, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Metrc compliance and pesticide training required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cultivation methods, including knowledge of hydroponics, pest management, and nutrient feeding.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and motivate a team, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve cultivation issues efficiently.
- Time Management: Ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet production schedules and company goals.
- Physical Stamina: Capability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
- Management Software: Knowledge of and ability to use software management tools (e.g. Trym) is a plus

**Schedule**:

- Alternative Work Schedule with 4 days a week and 10 hour days
- Weekends required
- Rotations to off shifts as needed

Pay: $26.00 per hour
