Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PA Licensed Asbestos Supervisor to join our team. As an Asbestos Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of asbestos-related projects. This includes ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating with clients and contractors, and implementing effective asbestos management strategies. Willing to train the right individual.
**Responsibilities**:
- Launder, manage, and supervise all aspects of asbestos-related projects
- Develop and implement comprehensive asbestos management plans
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify asbestos-containing materials (ACMs)
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Oversee the removal, encapsulation, or enclosure of ACMs in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor and document the progress of asbestos abatement projects
- Ensure proper disposal of asbestos waste in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct air monitoring and clearance testing to verify the effectiveness of asbestos removal activities
- Provide training and guidance to staff regarding safe handling and management of ACMs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to asbestos management
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations, including EPA, OSHA, and state-specific requirements
- Experience in supervising asbestos abatement projects in various settings (commercial buildings, hospitality industry, etc.)
- Proficient in conducting thorough inspections for identifying ACMs
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and housekeeping management
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
